2nd pick: #9 (Awesome Heart) (7-2) - Lightly raced and well-bred, he has only made two starts and they came 10 1/2 months apart. Home-bred colt stretches out in distance for the first time and should show whatever talen he has in this spot.
3rd pick: #2 (Infiltrator) (3-1) - Another lightly-raced and well-bred runner, he comes off an even effort at Aqu. at this level and distance on April 20th. Working fine since, and trainer Bill Mott adds blinkers. Win candidate.
4th pick: #6 (Captain Gaughen) (7-2) - Grey colt by "Disco Rico" is clearly better on the grass and moves back to the turf after showing little in a pair of contest at this level that were switched to the main track.
