Premium Pick

Top pick: #6 (TULITA) (5-2) - The probable favorite, she finished second of 10, beaten a 1/2 length racing at this tag and trip at Aqueduct on April 19. That was a career best, and it came off an 80 day break and a trainer change to Mike Maker. She's worked since and will be tough to beat.

2nd pick: #9 (Faceineveryflower) (4-1) - Nicely bred filly was competitive in her first two starts last fall on this circuit, but did not run well in a pair this past winter at Gulfstream. Freshened up since March 23, she's training on a very steady basis and drops to a new low in price. A late morning jockey change to J.J. Castellano is duly noted. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #5 (Coralita) (6-1) - Daughter of "Lemon Drop kid" ships in from Keeneland where she raced evenly on the "poly" surface on April 26. 3yo moves off the rail for the first time in her career and trainer Ed Kenneally will drop her down a bit and move her back to the grass. A sharp 1/2 mile breeze here four days ago suggests a better effort is coming.

4th pick: #2 (Bunhead) (8-1) - Speedy filly did not break sharply here last out and raced evenly while never involved. Her connections drop her down, stretch her back out, and it's apprentice "Chamafi" off & Rajiv Maragh on. The last time this daughter of "Hard Spun" raced at this price, she missed by a "head" at the Fair Grounds on "St. Paddy's Day".
