Baltimore at Washington

The Washington Nationals have hit bottom. They are a talented team that has underachieved for much of the season. And with the pressure on....they've lost two in a row as favorites of -145 and -180. Washington remains 6 1/2 games behind the New York Mets with 11 games to play. The Nationals are 0-6 in interleague home games, plus 1-5 at home against a right-handed starter. Washington goes with righty Tanner Roark (4-6, 4.73 ERA), who has not won since July 4. He gave up six runs and eight hits in five innings in a loss to Miami on Thursday and the Nationals are 1-5 in his last six starts vs. a team with a losing record. Baltimore has a strong offense, #10 in runs scored, #5 in slugging. The Orioles are on a 10-4 run, including 6-2 on the road. Starter Tyler Wilson (3.72 ERA) has good stuff and the Orioles are 6-1 in interleague games, including 8-3 against Washington, so grab the hot dog again and play on Baltimore.
