The Chicago White Sox got the monkey off their backs, ending a five-game skid with a win here last night. The Orioles looked to bolster their rotation by trading for Scott Feldman from the Cubs. Feldman has been mediocre in 20 appearances vs. the Sox, where he carries a 4.20 ERA into this contest. Hector Santiago will take the mound for the 10th time as a starter in his career, and on the season owns a respectable 3.59 ERA. Paul Konerko returned last night after missing six games, and although he went 0-4, he makes this a much longer lineup to pitch to. The Orioles have dropped four straight as a road favorite from -110 to -150, and the Sox have stepped it up a notch at home vs. teams with a winning road record where they are an impressive 19-7 in their last 26.
