Atlanta at Washington

Washington is back home where it has a 38-26 record and has Max Scherzer, who is 15-7 with a 2.89 ERA, on the mound against Atlanta. The Nationals have won seven of Scherzer's last eight starts, including 3-2 at Philadelphia on Tuesday when he allowed two runs and three hits in eight innings. The right-hander has a 2.33 ERA at home this year, and he is 2-0 with a .214 opponent batting average against the Braves. Washington has won 42 of its last 61 games against NL East teams, and Atlanta has lost 60 of its last 88 road games versus teams with winning records. Ryan Weber will make his first start of the season and probably won't pitch more than a few innings.
