Atlanta at Tampa Bay

The Tampa Bay Rays’ injury list grows longer and longer. The fortunate thing for them is that they have a deep starting rotation that keeps them in games despite of the offensive injuries. They do miss Evan Longoria, and have played just five OVER the total in the 16 games he has missed. Tonight it is James Shield at the top of this very solid rotation. At home the Rays are 10-0 in his last 10 home starts. Tommy Hansen is off of two straight very good outings, and in his only appearance against this Rays team, he shut them out for seven innings, allowing only three hits. The Braves are now 19-6-2 when Hansen has taken the ball for a series opener in his last 27. The Rays have been a decidedly UNDER team when Shields gets the ball in rotation on four days rest where they are 22-6 to the UNDER. Play this one UNDER the total.
