Atlanta at San Diego

Atlanta blew a ninth inning lead last night in a 4-3 loss to the Padres. Tonight the Braves have one of their better pitchers on the mound in Julio Teheran, who has a 1-6 record but with a stellar 2.92 ERA. The right-hander has allowed only 12 earned runs his last nine starts covering 57 innings, but Atlanta's lack of run support has been the culprit. Drew Pomeranz comes off seven shutout innings against Colorado after giving up six runs in five innings at Arizona. The left-hander threw 105 pitches in seven innings versus the Rockies. San Diego is 3-12 its last 15 games against right-handed starters. This is too much value to give Teheran given his recent performances. Play the Braves.
