The starters play the most in Week 3 and Atlanta is a team that could use a good showing. They haven't even shown up in the first two games, getting outscored 45-14. But QB Matt Ryan actually played great last week in limited action at 5-of-7 for 90 yards and a TD. And the defense has held Kansas City to 76 yards rushing (2.9 yards per carry) and the Jets to 75 yards rushing (2.3 ypc). The Jaguars have less to prove after making it to the AFC Championship game last year. They've shown nothing on offense in preseason, off a 14-10 win over Minnesota despite the offense rushing for 3.4 ypc, throwing no TDs and one pick, while going 4-of-14 on third down. The Jaguars will play it boring again on offense with an unimpressive QB rotation of Blake Bortles, Cody Kessler and Tanner Lee. The trio has taken 12 sacks in two games. They're playing without two starting offensive linemen -- left guard Andrew Norwell (calf) and right tackle Jermey Parnell (precaution). At least the defense is playing well, holding the Saints to 265 total yards and the Vikings to 238, while getting seven sacks. These teams met last preseason in a defensive game, 13-7, where Matt Ryan didn't play. This time he plays into the third quarter and will be the difference maker. Back Atlanta and the UNDER.
