Atlanta at Chicago

The Atlanta Dream exploded out of the gate last season to run out to 10-1 through their first 11 games. It gave everyone in the league a taste of what this team was capable of. They then lost their way, and finished the season at 7-16. It certainly looked like they would be bounced from the playoffs in the first round, but the 10-1 team emerged, and carried them to the Finals before bowing out to Minnesota. They have matured after a frustrating, but rewarding season to open 2-0, as the offense has churned out 84.5 points per game. They are catching the oddsmakers and the Sky at the right time. The Sky is 3-0, but will be missing Prince, and Fowles - a pair that scored 31 points per game last season between them. The Sky have yet to face an up-tempo team such as the Dream, and this should be an up-and-down game. And with the Sky short handed for this one, I see a great opportunity for the Dream to be in this one to win it late, as they will wear down the Sky. The Dream has a 5-2 ATS mark in their last seven vs. the Sky, and the last one late last year saw 167 points scored in the game. Atlanta will push the pace, and hang tough here. Go with Atlanta and the OVER.
