Top pick: #1 (MISTER BERNSTEIN) - Last out he finished well back of two of todays rivals, but he can reverse that decision this afternoon. He had a poor outside post (9th of 10) and was forced to run very wide all the way and still managed to finish 4th after losing alot of ground on both turns. He moves to the rail for this attempt and should have a better journey. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Dreaming of Buffie) - Excellent effort here in the same race as "Mister" saw him save ground while staying on the hedge, shift out at the 1/4 pole, and while no match for the "much the best" winner, he did hold down the place spot. No knocks from me for those who prefer him.
3rd pick: #5 (Horvat Clan) - Gelding has a good late kick and he'll be dropping down into a claimer after facing special weights in his first five appearances. 3yo has made up good late ground in 4 of those, and in his latest he ran very wide and evenly at Keeneland. The faster the pace, the better his chances.
