Dodger stadium is huge - a great park for pitchers. Arizona is in town with a talented offense, #13 in baseball in runs scored, and ninth in slugging. The Diamondbacks are 9-4 following a loss. Arizona goes with lefty Robbie Ray (3.00 ERA), who is one of the few teams to cool off the Cubs this season. Last Friday he yielded two runs on four hits in six innings in beating the Cubs, 3-2. Ray is 2-2 with a 2.28 ERA in four career starts against the Dodgers and the team is 7-2-1 UNDER the total when he starts on the road. Arizona is also 13-5 UNDER against a right-handed starter and faces Dodgers' fifth starter righty Ross Stripling. He is off a good start, but had a 4.09 ERA over 11 innings in spring training and spent most of the past two seasons recovering from Tommy John surgery. The Dodgers have dropped four of six games with Carl Crawford and Scott Van Slyke on the disabled list with back injuries, so jump on the talented live dog in a defensive duel.
