WIN

A home field advantage is only as good as the team defending it. For Colorado once a dominating home team, the results this season have been pared down to two games over .500. Meanwhile, Arizona remains the surprise team in the NL West where they head into the last four weeks with a seven-game cushion on San Francisco, and 20 games over .500. They just took two of three from the Giants, and have now won 11 of their last 12 games. Esmil Rodgers has been given an opportunity to win a job in the Rockies rotation next year, but his last four starts show he has allowed at least 4 runs in all of them. Wade Miley, after a shaky debut for the D-Backs has allowed 2 total runs in his last two starts. Rodgers’ 1-9 mark in his last 10 starts vs. the NL West doesn't bode well here vs. the momentum-driven D-Backs now 43-19 after a win. Arizona gets this one.
