AQUEDUCT Race #SIX

Premium Pick
(# 8) LHOTSE QUALITY - Really needed his most recent effort on March 10th, chasing slow fractions off of a prelonged layoff. He tired slowly late in a race that should set him up perfectly for his second effort off the shelf while stretching out to seven furlongs. He might prefer to sit and make one run, and I expect him to revert to rating tactics today. He will be re-equipped with Lasix in his second start for Dutrow, and he is a four year old facing Premium wine who will NOT turn three until next month. Has been given time to recoup from latest race and sports a maintenance type work since for a barn that excels off of short rests.

(# 7) Premium Wine - Might have been best in career debut for Dick's brother Tony Dutrow. Broke last in the field and then was forced to rally wide against a strong pace. He then lost a photo in his well bet/well meant initial start and stretches out today. He is entered back rather quickly in my opinion off such a taxing effort in his debut run, and might not be able to reproduce that kind of race today.

(# 1) Gentle Touch - Gave futile chase to a loose wire-to-wire winner off a freshening on March 31st. Turns back to a sprint, but I am not sure he can handle the faster pace scenario. Might be a need the lead type and will have to be sent hard from the rail.

The Plays: $10 to win and place on #8.
$4 exacta boxes on 8-1 and 8-7.
Total wager = $36.00.
