Premium Pick

Top pick: #2 (HUSHHUSHMUSHMUSH) (3-1) - Gelding has had some less than perfect trips this year and finished within range several times. No-speed type is brought back in seven days by trainer Chad Brown, reunites with J.J. Castellano, and there's lots of potential speed in here to set things up nicely for his stretch run.

2nd pick: #5 (Wake Up and Go) (7-2) - He spent the first part of his most recent effort fighting his jockey and once settled he rallied while wide to finish 4th of 12, beaten three lengths. It was his first start in two months and he has more positional speed than "Hush." Win threat at a square price.

3rd pick: #6 (Spa City Treasure) (5-1) - Speed/stalker has run well in all five starts and will be stretching out around two-turns for the first time. Freshened up since Sept. 11 he has a bullet half-mile work on Oct. 26 and that suggests he's ready for another big effort.

4th pick: #4 (Spark to Ignite) (8-1) - The main speed, he stretches back out after tiring badly in a grass sprint at Belmont facing tougher on Oct. 18. Trainer Leo O'Brien drops him back down, stretches him out, removes his blinkers, and replaces apprentice Jara with Manuel Franco. Three-year-old will take them as far as he can.

5th pick: #1 (Disco Joey) (15-1) - Longshot is another that's dropping down in class and trying a longer trip for the first time. He draws the rail, showed an improved effort last out and races with blinkers on for the first time.
