The hot barn of Rudy Rodriguez has her on the dirt for the first time and she draws a nice outside post and has blinkers on. Very wide in her last pair on the grass, daughter of 'Ghostzapper' gets a slight edge with Javier Castellano staying aboard.
2nd pick: #1 (Paz the Wine) (5-2) - Filly is stretching out in distance and she missed by a 'head' at this level going six furlongs on a sloppy main track in an 'off the turf' contest May 25. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Madame Ambassador) (6-1) - On the turf in all six starts, filly is on the main track, is stretching out in distance, and is racing third back of a 3.5 month layoff. Well backed several times, she can factor if able to handle the wete going.
4th pick: #7 (She's Cookin) (8-1) - Verly lightly-raced, filly raced evenly facing tougher in a grass sprint at Belmont facing tougher Sept. 28. Only her second start, it was her first since Feb. 4. Working above average at Belmont and she's in a claimer for the first time.
5th pick: #5 (Havana Affair) (6-1) - Competitive in four straight on the grass, she 'nibbled' a few times in the Finger Lakes dirt and may grab a minor award at a big price.
