Premium Pick

Top pick: #7 (BEIJING BLUES) - Gelding rallied to finish second facing slightly tougher Mar. 2 to a heavy favorite who won easily that afternoon. Effort was only his second back off a 5 month break and he meets a very weak field in this one-turn mile maiden contest. He faced tougher on the grass earlier in his career and has become competitive since trainer Dave Donk moved him to the dirt, dropped him in price, and added blinkers. The top selection.

2nd pick: #9 (Soft Parade) - Price-play was never involved last out facing a bit tougher on a sloppy track, but in several of his previous starts he raced well enough to be a contender in this field. Trainer Dan Conway Jr. adds blinkers this afternoon and believe this 3-year-old will run well at a nice price.

3rd pick: #1 (Wing Glider) - Has the rail, the best early speed of these, and trainer Gary Contessa brings him back in 8 days for this attempt. There's not much speed signed on here and he could be very dangerous if he gets to the front without any opposition.
