2nd pick: #7 (Pleasant Pacific) - Dropped to this price last out she chased a wire-to-wire winner and held gamely to finish second, almost 5 lengths clear of the show horse. Expensive ($125,000) filly by "Stormy Atlantic" is improving and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Shalaka) - Four-year-old filly hasn't run since last winter when she was competitive in 5 straight at or around this price. Work tab is sparse and her trainer (Jim Bond) likes to race them into shape. Can factor if ready, but may need a race.
4th pick: #4 (Truffles) - Drops, goes turf to dirt, and cuts back in distance this afternoon. Strong finisher has been competitive in three straight on the grass and is a stretch threat this afternoon.
