Premium Pick

Top pick: #7 (ONE TURN EDDIE) - Much improved since a claim by Rudy Rodriguez in late June and a subsequent 2 month layoff. Gelding recently finished third racing at Belmont at this level and distance and Dominguez will be aboard for the first time. Four-year-old draws outside of the other speed and that makes him the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #4 (Whateverittakes) - Three-year-old was an impressive maiden winner at Belmont last out when trainer Rick Schosberg added blinkers to his equipment for the first time. Race was by far the best of his career and he's continued to work fast since. Can contend today, but he loses Dominquez to the top pick in here.

3rd pick: #6 (Smooth Transition) - Gelding defeated One Turn Eddie last out in the best effort of his ten race career. He's been competitive in his last four dirt starts and has enough speed to stay close early and to try and make a late run.
