Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (TASHREEH) (3-1) - He's improved dramatically since being claimed for $25,000 by Rudy Rodriguez last August at Saratoga. Stalker won two in a row during the winter and is training fast for his first since Feb. 4. He's two for three on 'off' tracks and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Hey Jabber Jaw) (8-1) - Speedster has gone 7-5-2-0 since coming back from a 19.5 month layoff last June. He scored at this level going six furlongs on the inner surface Feb. 11 and should be in this from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #8 (Gypsum Johnny) (4-1) - Veteran ships back from Laurel where he finished second facing weaker March 12. It was his second back from a 3.5 month break and he's won on the main track here in the past.
4th pick: #5 (The Gomper) (5-1) - He rallied to finish third, 2.5 lengths in back of 'Hey Jabber Jaw' at this level and distance Feb. 11. It was his first since Dec. 4 and first outside of California. He can factor if able to handle the wet track, which most Calif. imports rarely run on.
