Top pick: #1 (EL PADRINO) - Colt by "Pulpit" has been sharp in both his starts and she was a visually impressive maiden winner last out at Belmont going 8.5 furlongs. Working fast for this, he draws the rail, meets a sub-par group for a G2 stakes, and is the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #2 (Souper Speedy) - Home-bred son of "Indian Charlie" was a "gutsy" and surprise (31-1) maiden winner at Belmont Oct. 1. He set a pressured pace from start to finish and held gamely to win by a 1/2 length over Hierro, who came back to win next out.

3rd pick: #6 (Stephanoatsee) - Maryland shipper is a home-bred by "A.P. Indy" who has rallied from far back in both his outings. Colt broke his maiden at Laurel going a mile 5 weeks ago and is in the barn of Graham Motion. It's always of note when Dominguez gets aboard and he wins at a 26% rate when riding for the English born trainer.
