Premium Pick

Top pick: #2 (SECRET SHIFTERS) - He continues to be bet in his races and he's still with Rick Dutrow, so this 3-year-old by "Lemon Drop Kid" has some ability. Last out he was beaten 25 lengths at Belmont going a mile, but it's noted that the winner ("D Tiger") was 18 1/2 lengths clear and has since come back to win again. All of Dutrow's horse are stabled right here at Aqueduct and this maiden is making his first start on his "home" surface. Has the rail and can take this at a square price.

2nd pick: #6 (Tactical Saenz) - Un-raced since March 15th, gelding was competitive at that time facing tougher and he has a pair of back-to-back sharp half-mile works showing for his return. The Chatterpaul barn drops him to a new low today and Jersey-bred is a major threat if ready.

3rd pick: #1a (Cameron Canyon) - New York-bred is part of a Dom Galluscio trained entry and with apprentice jockey Coa listed on both only one will go. Colt has fine early speed and finished second when facing tougher in late May at Belmont. His speed makes him a factor.

4th pick: #3 (Kershner) - Gelding ran evenly when debuting at Belmont for a $25k tag Oct. 5 in a contest that was switched from the grass to the dirt. Trainer Dale Romans drop him down and adds lasix for this attempt.
