Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (STORM PURSUIT) (2-1) - Old timer just turned nine and comes off a ear hat saw him win 6-of-13 starts. All came in dirt sprints and this wonderful veteran has won half of his eight starts on the inner surface. Freshened up since Dec. 9, he races first off a Chris Englehart claim (25%).
2nd pick: #5 (Attractive Ride) (5-1) - This hard hitter is still racing at age 11. He's slipped quite a bit over he past two years, but finished second at this tag Nov. 23. In his follow up race Jan. 2, he raced extremely wide and evenly from the #12 post on a muddy surface. Can factor today with a much better draw.
3rd pick: #3 (Sing the Dream) (10-1) - Speed/stalker raced both wide and evenly last out at this tag and trip. He finished a distant third prior to that but was 8.5 lengths in back of 'Storm Pursuit.' May hold down a share with his best.
4th pick: #2 (Regulus) (8-1) - On the sidelines for two months, he's dropping down to this $10K tag for the first time. Working above average, this 8-year-old can get a minor award at a square price with his 'A' game.
