Premium Pick

Top pick: #6 (SOUNDS FAMILIAR) - Daughter of "Grand Slam" ran well at Gulfstream facing "open" foes and did especially well last out when she finished fifth, beaten less than two lengths despite being forced to "check" mid-way through the far turn. Faces state-bred for the first time today and she's the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #5 (Shake Baby Shake) - Another Gulfstream shipper, this daughter of "El Corredor" showed big speed in her only outing. Her trainer (Barclay Tagg) always heats-up after shipping north and this year has been no exception (5-2-1-1). Her speed makes her dangerous.

3rd pick: #2 (Maya Charli) - Filly by a great turf sire "Cozzene" will move to the grass for the first time this afternoon. She was entered last out in a turf contest but race was switched to the main-track due to rain and she showed improved speed that day over her "troubled" debut. In the Pletcher barn and she'll run better on the surface change.
