2nd pick: #9 (Thirsty Bird) (5-2) - Debuting daughter of 'Stay Thirsty' has been in steady training since mid-August. $120K purchase runs first out for $50K and I'll assume trainer Todd Pletcher (22% first out) has her ready to roll.
3rd pick: #7 (My Roxy Girl) (3-1) - The morning line favorite, she's finished second in two straight at this level. Stalker has been competitive in six of seven overall and is an obvious contender.
4th pick: #2 (Simona) (12-1) - Longshot is moving from grass to dirt, shortens back up in distance, has blinkers added, and is in a claimer for the first time. If she has any talent it will come out against this group.
5th pick: #1 (Promise Me Roses) (5-1) - Home bred tired badly in her debut when facing tougher Oct. 26. She drops down, has the rail, and it's of interest that Javier Castellano stays with her.
