Top pick: #4 (CAN'T CATCH ME NOW) - Speedy colt chased a fast pace while racing wide last out at Belmont and finished third of 12, beaten just over three lengths. Home-bred by "Harlington" had a tough post that afternoon (11th of 12), so the effort was a solid one. Trainer Gary Gullo has given him eight weeks since his last race and a bullet three furlong drill on Oct. 28 suggests he's ready to roll.

2nd pick: #3 (Nail It) - Debuting gelding is a home-bred from the highly successful operation of Chester and Mary Broman. Trainer Mike Hushion has had him in steady training for three months and the latest work was a bullet half-mile at Belmont on Oct. 25.

3rd pick: #1 (Hooked Forever) - Improving son of "Hook and Ladder" finished third at Belmont at this level and distance Oct. 6 in what was his best to date. Has the railand is a threat from just off the pace.

4th pick: #8 (Magnifcentmillion) - One of a half-dozen making their debuts and this colt by "Henny Hughes" is in the always dangerous barn of Rudy Rodriguez (19% first out). Most of the AM moves are of the stamina building type, but a near bullet on this surface on Oct. 15 indicates he has some speed.
