Top pick: #1 (MONOPOLIZE) (3-1) - Colt stretches out in distance after a very wide and even effort when debuting at 7-furlongs Nov 30. In the Pletcher barn (35% second time out) he's worked him since and brings him back in three weeks.
2nd pick: #5 (Great Minds) (5-1) - Barn (Bill Mott) had a maiden win here yesterday and he adds lasix to this colt by "Stroll" who finished second last out going 9-furlongs in his first ever on dirt.
3rd pick: #7 (Woelf Den) (7-2) - Improving son of "Curlin" ran 3rd here on the main-track going a mile on Nov. 16. Race had a very strong field and the final time was quick for 2-year-olds (1:36 flat). vMust be left in the mix.
4th pick: #11 (All My Memories) (5-1) - At press time it wasn't yet clear whether he had scratched in from the also-eligible list or not. Colt exits the same Nov. 30 race as "Monopolize" and was only a 1/2 length back of him at the finish. If he does run, his post is a minus, but he could grab a share if able to avoid a wide trip.
5th pick: #2 (Patty and Nooche) (12-1) - Gelding draws the rail for the 3rd straight time, but unlike the last pair, it's a plus in this two-turn contest. Working nicely and has finished third in two of three starts.
