2nd pick: #1 (Black N Beauty) - He's one of two entered by the high-percentege barn of Chris Englehart and the pair will race uncoupled. This colt has been freshened-up since late January when he finished second here at this level and trip. A bullet half-mile drill on Feb. 27 suggests he's ready for his best.
3rd pick: #3 (Lubango) - The second of the Englehart pair is a bit cheaper that the others, but gives his best each time and has fine early speed. The presence of noted "speed" rider C.C. Lopez means he'll be in front early.
