Top pick: #2 (MADROOS) (7-2) - Son of "Indian Charlie" cost $360K as a yearling and finished an even third when debuting in a 6-furlong sprint at this level Nov. 10. Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin (24% second time out) adds Lasix (29%) and stretches him out in distance (23%). Colt draws the rail and I like his chances.

2nd pick: #6 (Net Gain) (3-1) - Both blinkers and Lasix after added by trainer Bill Mott to this son of "Include" who has rallied from far back to check in fourth in both starts. Must be left in the win mix.

3rd pick: #3 (Fowler Avenue) (15-1) - Longshot raced evenly last out at this level going a mile Nov. 8. It was his first since late August, a career best, and he's been working nicely since. Blinkers go on and he may grab a share at a big price.

4th pick: #4 (Far from Over) (5-2) - One of two debuting colts from the barn of Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. Son of "Blame" cost $550K in Sept. of 2013 and has been in steady training since late August.
