2nd pick: #8 (Practical Joke) (7-2) - Strong finisher was 4.5 lengths in back of 'Sharp Azteca' at Del Mar Nov. 3. He had a less that perfect trip and has worked very fast since. From the barn of Chad Brown, I could have easily made this 3yo the top selection.
3rd pick: #10 (Beasley) (12-1) - Longshot stretches out after missing by just under a length in the Bold Ruler Stakes (G3) going seven furlongs at Belmont Oct. 28. He earned a huge figure and has worked fast fine. One run type has a nice outside post and may factor at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Tom's Ready) (8-1) - Strong finisher rallied from far back to win Belmont's Bold Ruler Stakes (G3), going seven furlongs Oct. 28. He was almost a length in front of 'Beasley' that afternoon and is a threat if the pace picture is fast and/or contested.
5th pick: #2 (Seymordini) (6-1) - 'Horse for the Course' is two for two on Aqueduct's main track, and both wins have come at this distance. Speed/stalker is a perfect four for four at this trip and could grab a share with his 'A' game.
