Air Force at Stanford

The Air Force Academy will head to Maples Pavillion to take on the Stanford Cardinals. Air Force is a program that went from winning less than ten games a year, to a team that is on the rise over the last few years. They have done it with three point shooting, ranking among the top teams each of the last several years. This team plays a very deliberate style of basketball limiting possessions and patiently finding good shots. This is a huge amount of points to lay vs a team that is going to be sure and shorten the game against a better opponent. This becomes a dangerous spot for this lofty a pointspread as the Flyboys have only dropped three of their last 39 losses by a count of higher than this spread, with their biggest loss in this stretch coming by 22. No doubt Stanford is the superior team here but Air Force will slow this one down and make the big number hard to tumble. I'll back the Falcons here.
