Washington looks to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to Los Angeles on Sunday, and they will have Ilya Samsonov back in net. He owns an 11-2-2-0 record with a 2.64 goals-against average and will be itching to redeem himself after a bad outing at Chicago when he allowed five goals in a 5-4 overtime loss. Philadelphia goalie Carter Hart returned to practice after a non-COVID illness, and if he doesn't go tonight it will be Martin Jones, who has a 3.33 goals-against average. The Flyers recently had a 10-game losing streak, but they have since won four of five, including 4-3 in overtime against Ottawa on Saturday. The Capitals have won six of the last eight meetings, and they are 6-1 their past seven games after scoring two or fewer goals in their previous game.
