Matt Murray had a bad game last night allowing all five goals as Ottawa lost 5-1 to Chicago. However, Filip Gustavsson will be back in net tonight with a 2-1-0-0 record, a 2.23 goals-against average, and a .932 save percentage this season. Gustavsson was the winner in the Senators' 4-1 win over Dallas on Friday. Minnesota won its first four games of the season, but they have since lost three of four, including 4-1 to Colorado on Saturday and 4-1 on Thursday against the expansion Seattle Kraken. The Senators are 8-2 their past 10 after scoring two or fewer goals their previous game and 7-1 after losing by at least three goals dating to last season.
