New York at Toronto

New York got its first win of the season on Saturday as Alexis Lafreniere scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period and Igor Shesterkin had 31 saves for the Rangers, who beat Montreal 3-1. It was the first win for new coach Gerard Gallant and New York stopped three power-play opportunites for the Canadiens. Shesterkin is expected back in net after an off day and Auston Matthews still is questionable for the Maple Leafs. The Rangers have won four of the past five meetings although they didn't meet in the 2020-21 season. Jack Campbell will be in net again for Toronto as Petr Mrazek is expected to be out with a groin injury. New York is getting good line value in this matchup. Play the Rangers.
