Los Angeles has lost two in a row following its opening night win against Vegas, and the Kings have scored only three goals in the two games. They have also lost seven of their past eight dating to last season. Holtby is probable in net tonight, and he owns a 1.75 goals-against average with a .947 save percentage in three starts this season. The Stars have won seven of the past nine meetings, and the Kings are 6-18 their past 24 games versus a team that allowed two or fewer goals its previous game, and they are 22-49 as road underdogs, 23-53 overall on the road.
