Pittsburgh has won five in a row following its 5-2 victory over Montreal on Tuesday when Evan Rodrigues had a goal and two assists, and Tristan Jarry had 28 saves for the Penguins, who have allowed only six goals during the winning streak. Jarry is 13-5-0-4 with a 1.92 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage while enjoying his best season yet for Pittsburgh. Buffalo has injury problems at the goalie position and will likely go with Malcolm Subban, who allowed six goals in a 6-2 loss to Carolina in his last appearance on Dec. 4. The Sabres are playing a back-to-back, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen played last night against Minnesota. The Penguins are out to avenge a 2-1 loss in the only other meeting this season, and they are 13-6 after scoring at least five goals their previous game (9-4 playing with two days of rest).
