Monday Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels MLB Predictions & PicksMLB Monday Preview & Free Pick

Houston Astros at Los Angeles Angels

Monday, June 27, 10 p.m. (ET) ESPN

Money Line: Houston -103   Los Angeles -107

Total Line: 7.5

Houston at Los Angeles Game Overview

Houston’s recent seven-game winning streak came to an end on Sunday with a 6-1 loss to Kansas City as a -108 road favorite on BetAnySports closing money line. The total stayed UNDER 8.5 in that game and it has stayed UNDER in 13 of its last 17 games in MLB picks. The Astros are currently 39-37 on the year with a 17-22 record on the road. They are 10 games off the pace in the AL West Division race set by Texas (49-27).

The Astros’ bats were quiet in Sunday’s loss after pounding out a total of 26 runs in two previous victories against Kansas City in this past weekend’s three-game series. They have averaged 4.4 runs a game this season. Turning to Houston’s starter for Monday night, Collin McHugh will get the call. The right-hander will be making his 16th start of the season and he comes in with a record of 5-5 behind a 4.70 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP. In last week’s start against the Angels at home, he allowed just two earned runs on five hits to pick-up the win.

After losing three straight to Houston on the road last week, Los Angeles dropped the first three games of this past weekend’s series at home against Oakland. It snapped the six-game skid with Sunday’s 7-6 victory as a -113 favorite with BetAnySport. The total went OVER 8.5 in that game and it has gone OVER in the last four games. The Angels are now 32-44 on the year including a losing 16-23 record at home.

Heading into Sunday’s series finale against the A’s, the Angels averaged 3.6 runs during their six-game slide. This compares to a 4.3 runs per game average that is ranked ninth in the AL. Look for Matt Shoemaker to get the start in this series opener. The right-hander was on the losing end of a 3-2 setback against Houston last week to fall to 3-8 through 14 previous starts. His ERA stands at 4.43 with a 1.28 WHIP.

Cleveland Indians vs Detroit TigersMLB Friday Preview & Free Pick

Cleveland Indians at Detroit Tigers

Friday, June 24, 7:10 p.m. (ET)

Money Line: Cleveland -107     Detroit -103

Total Line: 8

Cleveland at Detroit Game Matchup Overview

The Indians come into this key AL Central clash riding a six-game winning streak after sweeping Tampa Bay at home this week in three games by a combined score of 19-5. The total stayed UNDER BetAnySports’ 8.5 total line in Wednesday’s 6-1 win as -122 home favorites and it has now stayed UNDER in MLB picks and predictions four of their last six games. Cleveland goes on the road in this series with an even 18-18 record in 36 previous road games.

While Cleveland’s bats have been hot lately with an average of 6.3 runs during this winning streak, it will turn to Danny Salazar as its starter for Friday night to keep things rolling. The right-hander is 8-3 this season through 13 starts with a solid 2.23 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP. He has won his last four starts while allowing a total of just six earned runs. In his last outing against the Chicago White Sox, Salazar went 6.2 innings and allowed two earned runs on five hits while striking-out 11 batters.

Detroit has done its best to keep pace with the Indians in a tight division race with a four-game sweep of Seattle at home this week after dropping three of four on the road to Kansas City last weekend. The Tigers are now 38-35 on the year with a 21-13 record at their home ball park. They come into this series four games in back of Cleveland in the standings. The total has stayed UNDER in four of their last five games.

The Tigers’ bats warmed-up this week with a total of 22 runs in that four-game sweep, but they will probably need a strong effort from Jordan Zimmermann as their starter to win this game. This right-hander has also gotten off to a strong start with a 9-3 record through 13 outings and his ERA stands at 3.24 with a 1.15 WHIP. Despite allowing just one earned run on four hits through a full eight innings of work, he got tagged with the loss against Kansas City his last time out.

Cleveland at Detroit Game Prediction

This should be a great matchup on the mound between two quality pitchers.

Washington Nationals vs Los Angeles Dodgers MLB Game Pick & PredictionMLB Wednesday Preview & Free Pick

Washington Nationals at Los Angeles Dodgers

Wednesday, June 22, 10 p.m. (ET) ESPN

Money Line: Washington +106   Los Angeles -116

Total Line: 7.5

Washington at Los Angeles Game Overview

The Nationals have already come up short in the first two games of this series with a 4-1 loss on Monday night as heavy +270 road underdogs followed by a 3-2 loss on Tuesday as +116 underdogs. The total on the closing line has stayed UNDER in both contests. Washington (43-29) has now dropped its last four games with a 2-2 split on the road this past weekend against San Diego and its lead over New York in the NL East stands at 4.5 games.

In hopes of avoiding a sweep, the Nationals will turn to Joe Ross as their starter in the series finale. The right-hander has gone 6-4 in 13 previous starts this season with a solid 3.13 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. He has gotten rocked around a bit in his last three starts by allowing a total of 11 earned runs on 15 hits, but Washington still won all three games behind some solid run support.

Los Angeles has now won its last five games and seven of its last eight to improve to 40-33 on the year; however it still trails red-hot San Francisco by 5.5 games in the NL West Division race. The total has stayed UNDER in five of the Dodgers’ last seven games overall and in seven of their last nine games at home on GTBets closing line. During this five-game winning streak they have allowed just 12 total runs.

While the Dodgers’ pitching has been stellar during their current seven-game home stand, they have only managed to score more than three runs in two of the first six games. They will turn to Julio Urias as their starter for Wednesday night. The left-hander has made five previous starts this season and he is 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP. Urias did look sharp his last time out against Milwaukee pitching five innings of shutout ball while allowing five hits and striking out eight. He has posted at least seven strikeouts in his last three starts.

Washington at Los Angeles Game Prediction

Los Angeles definitely has the hotter hand coming into this series finale when it comes to MLB picks, but Washington has not been swept in a three-game series since late April. Bank on the Nationals as slight +106 underdogs with to find a way to end their current slide.

Washington Nationals at Los Angeles DodgersMLB Monday Preview & Free Pick

Washington Nationals at Los Angeles Dodgers

Monday, June 20, 10 p.m. (ET) ESPN

Money Line: Washington +167   Los Angeles -177

Total Line: 5.5

Washington at Los Angeles Game Overview

The Nationals are 43-27 on the year and they come into Game 1 of this three-game series with a 7-3 record in their last 10 games. They did drop the final two contests of this past weekend’s four-game series against San Diego closing as road favorites on MLB money line. They gave up 13 runs in those two losses while only managing to score a total of six runs of their own. The total went OVER in both of those games and it has gone OVER in eight of Washington’s last 10 outings.

Stephen Strasburg will be on the mound for the Nationals on Monday night in his 15th start of the season. The right hander is a perfect 10-0 on the year with a 2.90 ERA and a 1.06 Whip. His last time out against the Chicago Cubs Strasburg went a full seven innings and only allowed one earned run while striking out eight. He has not given-up more than three earned runs in six of his last seven trips to the mound.

The Dodgers are 6.5 games in back of San Francisco in the NL West Division race with an overall record of 38-33. Their current winning streak stands at three games and they are 5-1 in their last six games with series wins against Arizona on the road and Milwaukee at home this past weekend. In Sunday’s 2-1 victory against the Brewers the total stayed well UNDER eight-run total line and it has now stayed UNDER in five of their last eight games in MLB picks and predictions.

Los Angeles will be going with its ace tonight in Clayton Kershaw. The left-hander has made 14 previous starts this season and his record stands at 10-1. Kershaw’s ERA is just 1.58 and his WHIP is an impressive 0.66. On June 15 against Arizona he went 7.1 innings and allowed two earned runs on five hits. He did strikeout 11 batters in that game and over the course of his last four starts he has posted 38 strikeouts while allowing a total of six earned runs.

Washington at Los Angeles Game Prediction

This should be the ultimate pitcher’s duel between two of the best in the game. Both should go deep into the contest.

Game 6 Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers Thursday NBA Playoff PicksNBA Finals Preview & Free Pick

Golden State Warriors at Cleveland Cavaliers – Game 6

Thursday, June 16, 9 p.m. (ET) ABC

NBA Pointspread: Cleveland -2.5

Total Line: 207.5

Golden State at Cleveland Game 6 Matchup Overview

Golden State failed to nail down its second-straight NBA title in Monday’s 112-97 loss in Game 5 as a 5.5-point home favorite so it will now try and win this year’s championship on the road as a slight underdog. The Warriors have gone just 4-5 both straight-up and against the spread in nine previous road games in this year’s playoffs. The total ended as a PUSH in Monday’s loss on GTbets  209-point closing line after staying UNDER in three of the first four games in this series.

One of the reasons for Monday’s loss was Draymond Green’s one-game suspension for a flagrant foul in Game 4, but he will be back in the lineup on Thursday night. Another reason the Warriors could not close things out was a poor shooting night from the field. They hit just 36.4 percent of their 88 total shots and their top shooter Stephen Curry went just 8-for-21 from the floor. Klay Thompson led the way in that game with 37 points.

Cleveland lives to play another day with a huge win on the road and it will now have a chance to force a Game 7 on its home court where it has gone 8-1 SU this postseason. The Cavaliers have been a very profitable bet at Quicken Loans Arena in the playoffs at 7-2 ATS and the total has stayed UNDER or ended as a PUSH in six of the nine games in NBA picks. They averaged 116 points in two wins against Golden State and just 87.7 points in three losses.

The combination of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving carried Cleveland to victory in Game 5. Each player ended the night with 41 points and while James added 16 rebounds and seven assist, Irving lit up the court with a 17-for-24 shooting performance from the field including five buckets from three-point range on seven attempts. Kevin Love returned to the starting lineup after missing Game 4 but he could only manage two points and three rebounds in 33 minutes of play.

Golden State at Cleveland NBA Playoff Picks

Golden State knows it let a golden opportunity slip away on Monday so I would expect a much better performance this time around.

Golden State Warriors at Cleveland Cavaliers- Game 4

Friday, June 10, 9 p.m. (ET) ABC

NBA Betting Pointspread: Cleveland -2

BetAnySports Total Line: 206.5

Golden State at Cleveland Game 4 Matchup Overview

The defending champs took a major step towards a second-straight NBA title with back-to-back victories as six-point home favorites by a combined 48 points in the first two games of this series, but the Warriors had the tables turned on them in Game 3 with 120-90 beatdown as slight 1.5-point road underdogs. The total stayed UNDER BetAnySports’ closing line in the first two games, but it went OVER 206 in Wednesday’s loss. Golden State is now 3-5 both straight-up and against the spread in eight road games in this year’s playoffs.

It is hard to know what to make of this series so far, but one major concern for Golden State has been the lack of offensive production from its top two scorers. After basically being a non-factor in the first two wins, both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson came up well short of their combined 48.5 point scoring average in the postseason with just 29 combined points in Game 3. These two are going to have to quickly return to form to avoid having this series turn into a best-of-three affair.

Give credit to Cleveland for bouncing back in a big way after suffering two embarrassing losses to start this best-of-seven rematch of last year’s NBA Finals. The change in venues could have been the driving force with the Cavaliers improving to 8-0 SU at home in the postseason with a highly profitable 7-1 record ATS on BetAnySports’ closing line. Cleveland also lost two straight road games to Toronto in the Eastern Conference Finals by a combined 21 points before winning Game 5 at home by 38 points.

Kevin Love missed Game 3 while recovering from a concussion, but he should be ready to go for Friday night. In his absence, both LeBron James and Kyrie Irving helped fill the void with a combined 62 points. The Cavaliers also go a strong effort from JR Smith with 20 points and Tristan Thompson with 14 points and 13 rebounds. The biggest difference in Wednesday’s win was Cleveland’s 52.7 field goal percentage after shooting less than 40 percent from the field in each of the first two games.

Golden State at Cleveland NBA Game Picks

Maybe we will finally see a close game in this series between the league’s top two teams.
