The Oklahoma City Thunder are a very talented and young squad that seem to have hit their stride and quickly become one of the best all-around teams in the NBA. With that being said, no is surprised just how far they have come in the NBA playoffs thus far, but whether or not they can get past a more experienced and battle tested Dallas Mavericks squad in the Western Conference Finals remains to be seen.
Even though they probably won’t get much love in NBA picks and the Dallas Mavericks will most likely be favored to be the team to advance to the NBA Finals in the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been given the reputation for pulling off upsets and embracing the underdog role.
With that being said, I believe the Western Conference Finals could easily become a long series that has the potential of going the full seven games.

Ever since the two-time defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers were swept by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round of the playoffs the rumors have started flying around Lakerland about the next head coach and whether or not GM Mitch Kupchak will pull the trigger on some trades.
The consensus as of right now is the Los Angeles Lakers bound to wheel and deal in the offseason in order to improve their franchise and give this team a better chance of being favored in NBA picks next season and beyond. Whether or not that turns out to be the case remains to be seen, but the one big-name that keeps getting mentioned as a possible target of the Lakers is Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic.
There is no real certainty on if the Lakers will make a deal to get Howard, but if they do decide to make a trade it will be no surprise to see Superman in Los Angeles when it is all said and done.
