Miami Heat at Oklahoma City Thunder Sun. Jan. 30, 2011 1 p.m. EST
Despite all the critics and all the negative press that the Miami Heat at gotten this season for making a super team with Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade leading the way, this team is lived up to the hype and could be headed for the NBA Finals at season’s end.
The peak of this season for the Miami Heat was when they were able to get the best of the two-time defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day, but things only get tougher from here on out even though they will be favored in NBA picks in pretty much every game they play.
One of the toughest challenges will come this Sunday afternoon when they face off against the NBA’s leading scorer Kevin Durant and the up-and-coming Oklahoma City Thunder.
Miami Heat may be arguably the most talented team in the NBA three the league’s biggest superstars, but that won’t matter to the Oklahoma City Thunder who are as talented as they come thinking just run other teams out of the building with point guard Russell Westbrook control in the offense.
In the end, the Heat will most likely come out on top, but the Thunder might feel give them a run for their money in what will almost certainly be a very entertaining matchup.
