And they face a good Washington team that is in second place. Washington (28-21) is No. 11 in the NHL in goals scored and has been outstanding when stepping-up against good teams. The Capitals are 6-2 in their last eight road games against a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600, as well as 5-2 in their last seven after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game.
