Today's Picks:

MONMOUTH PARK Race #4 at 2:20 PM Eastern

Top pick: #2 (DANCE WITH GIO) - Jersey-bred filly raced over the winter at Gulfstream Park and finished second in two of four starts facing "open" $35K company. She ended her Florida campaign by racing evenly in a grass contest with a lofty $75K tag. Freshened up for the past 2 1/2 months and she'll be moving back to the dirt and shortening up in distance.

2nd pick: #7 (Gracefully Mean) - Fast from the gate, she finished second on this surface last fall in her first pair, then tired on a sloppy track in her final race of 2011. Working nicely for her return and her early speed makes her a win candidate.

3rd pick: #5 (Nina's Pride) - Home-bred filly is working both steadily and above average for her first start since finishing third when debuting at Aqueduct on Feb. 23. Filly showed some early speed that day despite a "bobbling" start and is a major factor if she runs to her drills.

4th pick: #3 (Hotnslick) - Stalker exchanged decisions with "Gracefully" last fall and 3-year-old had a bullet 5-furlong work here on May 8th that says she'll be ready off a half-year's absence.
