Free Horse Racing Systems - May 06, 2012

Our pick in yesterday's Kentucky Derby (#6 Bodeneister) ran a big race , but just couldn't hold off longshot "I'll Have Another". Exciting race, but many of the 20 were very disappointing. On to the Preakness May 19th.

Today we have a pair of races from Belmont Park and two from closing day at Tampa Bay Downs where their long meet opened up way back on December 3rd.

Arlington opened this past Friday and Monmouth Park follows suit next Saturday.

Today's Picks:

TAMPA BAY DOWNS Race #2 at 1:15 PM Eastern

Top pick: #5 (TALK) - This is start No. 20, but he come into this off a nose loss at this price and distance April 11th in his best finish since coming back from a five month layoff in late December. The horse he beat by a 1/2 length for the place spot that afternoon has come back to win two in a row. Gelding is set for his maiden win.

2nd pick: #2 (Turn Red) - Gelding is brought back in 12 days for this after racing evenly at this tag and trip April 25th, his first race since Jully of 2010. His trainer (Reid Nagle) has been sharp here the final month of the season.

3rd pick: #9 (Itoldyoufromtheget) - One of a pair entered by trainer Kate O'Connell and the two maidens will race uncoupled. Colt has a bit of speed and moves off the inside after two straight even efforts. The "hot riding" Dan Centeno is back for the re-ride.

4th pick: #4 (Showkayce 'N Roses) - The second of the O'Connell pair has some early speed and has finished third in back-to-back starts at this price going 6 furlongs. 3-year-old should be involved in the running from start to finish.
