Tomorrow Belmont Park opens its spring/summer meet. The 56-day session runs through July 14th, and will be highlighted by the 144th running of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday June 9th.

Today all four of our races come from Keeneland, including the 51st running the Bewitch Stakes (G3).

KEENELAND Race #3 at 2:05 PM Eastern

Top pick: #6 (DARK COVE) - He's returned off a six month break in shape and will be dropping into a claimer and going turf to "poly". Son of "Madaglia d'Oro" is a perfect 2-for-2 on this surface and faces several in here returning off of layoffs. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #2 (Forestry Type) - Speedy and consistent sort is working nicely at Hawthorne as he runs today off a seven month absence. He's never raced locally, but is (5-2-1-1) on "poly" and his early foot makes him dangerous.

3rd pick: #7 (Bell by the Ridge) - Gelding made a strong bid into a slow pace and finished third of six, beaten only a 1/2 length racing here at this price on April 12th. 5-year-old should get a faster pace today and that will help out his style.

4th pick: #4 (Cross Village) - Consistent veteran hasn't raced since early November, but before shipping here he had been training well at Oaklawn Park. He's (3-1-1-0) on this strip and this is a good level for him.
