![]() Today's Picks: Top pick: #2 (THE SNICKERS KID) - Speedy and improving, he moves back up to face fellow state-bred special weights after finishing 3rd last out racing for $50K. That was a career best and it came on this surface. 2nd pick: #10 (Irish Moon) - Debuting son of "Malibu Moon" has been training very fast at the Fair Hill Center in Maryland and trainer Mike Trombetta brings the leading rider at Philadelphia Park (Kendrick carmouche) in for the ride. When teamed up, the combo wins at a solid 30% win rate. 3rd pick: #3 (The Kenosha Kid) - Useful debut saw this gelding by Bwana Charlie race evenly here at this level and distance March 28th. He's brought back on short notice by the dangerous barn of Chris Englehart (26% 2nd time out). 4th pick: #1 (Even Got Quiet) - Colt ran well last out at this level from a tough outside post. Race was his first off a 7 week break and this afternoon he moves from the 10 post to the rail. Stretch threat. SANTA ANITA Race #2 at 4:00 PM Eastern Top pick: #5 (ULTIMATE DECISION) - Gelding broke his maiden here at this distance racing for $20K Jan 2nd and was claimed that day by Doug O'Neill. He was an impressive winner in a starter-allowance 17 days later in his first for the new barn, but has raced evenly in his last pair facing tougher. Drops down to the purchase price and he's the horse to beat. 2nd pick: #4 (Rock This Way) - Speedy and improving gelding went wire to wire facing weaker at this trip April 1st in his first off a trainer change to Vlad Cerin. Has back class and he had a fine half-mile breeze here 5 days ago. Dangerous foe. 3rd pick: #3 (Arcodoro) - Has back class, fine early speed, and runs in a career soft spot in his 2nd back off a 7 month absence.
