Today's Picks:

TAMPA BAY DOWNS Race #5 at 2:20 PM Eastern

Top pick: #1 (BRITISH QUEEN) - Filly races for a winning barn (Kirk Ziadie) and daughter of "Johar" finished second after chasing a long gone wire-to-wire winner here on April 6th going 6 furlongs. She's brought back quickly for this, moves from an outside post to the rail, and she'll shorten up to 5 panels. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #2 (Una Mas Tiempo) - Her connections drop this filly way down in price and this daughter of "Montbrook" has shown some fine early speed before tiring in her last pair following the addition of blinkers. The cut back to 5 furlongs is a plus.

3rd pick: #7 (Pegasus Pearl) - She ran a career best when finishing second here at this price on March 7th, then showed some speed before backing up in a pair facing tougher special weights. Drops back down and should impact this afternoon.

4th pick: #4 (Wildcat Wiggle) - Furst time starter has been training above average off-site for trainer Bill Downing. Daughter of "Wildcat Heir" cost $25K and debuts for $8000. Can factor if ready.
