Nice performance yesterday by our Best Bet (#4 Singlet) in winning the Dearly Precious Stakes at Aqueduct. The filly stalked early while three wide, bid turning for home, and she held to win for the fourth time in five career outings. She returned $5.20.

AQUEDUCT Race #2 at 12:50 PM Eastern

Top pick: #1 (BE WITH ME) - She's the speed and daughter of "Corinthian" breaks from the rail. She's been competitive in every start since her debut last August at Saratoga and will be tough to beat on the front end.

2nd pick: #7 (Bluegrass Rumor) - Filly stretches-out in distance after missing by a neck here at this level going 6 furlongs Jan. 25. She has tactical speed and should be involved from start to finish.

3rd pick: #2 (Down by Law) - $190,000 daughter of "Awesome Again" rallied to finish second when debuting here Jan. 15 at this level and trip. In the Pletcher barn and he wins at a 31% rate second time out.

4th pick: #3 (Opalite) - Freshened up since late October, she showed some speed in her two starts at that time and is training nicely for her return. Can factor if ready.
