The Marshall Thundering herd opened the season at 9-2, playing tough against some good teams, and beating a few as well. That team has left the building and has been replaced by a team that is 4-4 over their last eight games, losing confidence while dropping their last two. Things could be even worse as their last three wins have all come by 2 points or less. UAB has lost a lot of talent to graduation from a year ago, but there is still plenty left and they are just green and growing right now. The Balzers have just one win to show for their last five games, but the gap is closing. They lost to Marshall by just two, Memphis by three, beat Rice on the road and lost to a powerful Southern Miss team on the road by just three during the 1-4 stretch. This team is better than the line in this one vs. a now struggling Marshall team. Play on UAB.
