 Today's Picks: The Angels are trying to hang onto desperate playoff hopes, but the season is long in the tooth and time is just about run out. The Jays would be just six games off the Angels pace, but in the AL east that doesn't cut it. Dan Haren off two injury plagued years that has seen his inning total approaching a career high and he is starting to show it. Haren, in his last eight starts, has seen his ERA swell to 4.61 and the Angels have consequently payed the price on the road where they are 0-4 in his last four road starts and 1-5 in his last six on the road as a favorite. The Jays are bouncing back at home off a loss where they have taken five straight and have the ability to win or stay close in this one. I like Toronto on the runline.
