 Today's Picks: Comerica park in Detroit is huge - a great pitcher's park. Detroit goes with ace Justin Verlander who is having a Cy Young season at 20-5 with a 2.38 ERA, fanning 218 in 215 innings. The UNDER is 10-1-3 in Verlander’s last 14 starts vs. a team with a winning record and 20-5-1 UNDER the total in his last 26 home starts vs. a team with a winning record. Chicago may have a winning record, but they are not doing it with offense, ranking No. 20 in baseball in runs scored. At least they have a talented starter on the mound in John Danks, and a hot one with a 1.64 ERA his last three starts, fanning 21 in 22 innings with five walks. The UNDER is 8-0 in Danks' last eight starts vs. a team with a winning record and 20-7-5 UNDER the total in the White Sox's last 32 against the American League Central.
