Top pick: #4 (ACAPELLA) (3-1) - Debuting filly is from the barn of leading trainer Chad Brown. Daughter of 'Majestic Warrior' cost $330K this past March as a 2-year-old in training. Her works are well above average and Brown wins at a 21% rate first time out.

nd pick: #1 (Louisville First) (6-1) - Barn (George Weaver) has won five races over the past three racing days. This filly raced both wide and evenly after breaking slowly when debuting here Aug 7. She's worked twice since, including a bullet half-mile just six days ago. Price play.

rd pick: #7 (Ask the Lonely) (15-1) - Home bred also was away slowly when debuting at Belmont back on July 9. That field was a strong one and this daughter of 'Congrats' was beaten 8 1/2 lengths while going 6-wide down the stretch.

th pick: #6 (Appian) (15-1) - Trainer Jeremiah Englehart has had a very strong meet (9-for-34) and he sends this filly down from his home base of Finger Lakes off of some solid works.

th pick: #10 (Singsong) (6-1) - It's interesting that jockey Javier Castellano is aboard this $300,000 daughter of 'Unbridled's Song.' He almost never rides for the trainer, so his presence is significant. Grey filly will need to break running from this outside post.
