The Oklahoma State Cowboys only know of one speed on offense, that's MACH IV. This team plays at break neck speed with lots of skilled and explosive offensive players. The problem is the teams over the last few years have simply had more talent than this year. Despite the gaudy offensive numbers, it was only good enough for a 7-5 record. When you consider two of the wins were vs. Savannah State and Louisiana Lafayette, they are just a .500 team otherwise, just like Purdue. Purdue certainly did not have a stellar season, but when they did come to play they took unbeaten Ohio State to overtime and dropped a three point decision to unbeaten Notre Dame. So, they certainly have the capacity to stick around here. Teams that have fewer than eight wins and are installed as a more than two TD favorite are a dismal in Bowl games as they are just 1-5 ATS.
